OUR BEAUTIFUL VINEYARD
As the wine industry old-timers say, great wines are made in the vineyard. We agree. We feel very fortunate to have the spectacular Aston Estate vineyard site on the Sonoma Coast to grow grapes for our beautiful Pinot Noirs.
On the road to the Aston Estate vineyard. Winemaker Thomas Brown checks the vineyard's progress. As the grapes ripen, they go through the color change of veraision.

The Pinot Noir vines thrive in the cool coastal microclimate. Clone 777 clusters gain hangtime in the weeks before harvest. Late afternoon sun blankets the vineyard.

ON THE ROAD WITH ASTON ESTATE
The greatest pleasure in making wine is sharing it with friends and family. We hope you enjoy following snapshot highlights from our road trip across America.

EMERIL LAGASSE’S CARNIVALE DU VIN
Las Vegas, NV
We enjoyed a magical night in the city of lights when Chef Wolfgang Puck perfectly matched our 2007 Aston Estate Pinot Noir clone 777 with his fabulous Grilled Prime Rib-Eye Steak and Creamy Mac-n-Cheese at this star-studded extravaganza sponsored by good friend Chef Emeril Lagasse. The event showcased a who's-who roster of food and wine personalities and raised more than $1.9 million dollars for children’s education.

KAHALA FOOD & WINE CLASSIC
Honolulu, HI
It was a weekend of "Pinots in Paradise" at the 2009 Kahala Food & Wine Classic. The festivities included a panel of exceptional Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs presented by Thomas and Fred where guests sampled a first-ever vertical tasting of our wines. In the evenings, Chef Emeril Lagasse and the Kahala team presented two amazing gala dinners featuring our Pinot Noirs served to guests right on the beach.

SOUTH BEACH WINE FESTIVAL
Miami, FL
In the dead of winter, we certainly were glad to pack our bags and head down south to warm sunny Florida for Wine Spectator’s "Best of the Best" Tasting at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The event drew a vibrant group of party-goers who came ready to enjoy an exclusive collection of super-hot chefs paired with top wineries. We were delighted to be part of this delicious fundraising event.

WINE SPECTATOR WINE EXPERIENCE
New York, NY
We were truly honored when Chef Emeril Lagasse chose Aston Estate Pinot Noir for the Wine Spectator "Four Chefs" Competition at the New York Wine Experience. At the tasting, our Pinot went head to head with a wine specially selected by Wine Spectator Executive Editor Tom Matthews. While both wines complemented Chef Emeril’s cuisine, in the end, it was our Aston Estate Pinot that finished on top with the most votes from the 1,000 plus attendees.
